I did not watch any of the previous movies by Wes Anderson. A friend told me, you “love it” or “hate it”. I can’t say I loved it, but I liked it. I confess the first half hour was a little boring, but then the movie got some more dynamic, more action, more fun. The peak of fun was this cat, shown in the screenshot above. Poor cat, but lovely image.
The story is nothing brilliant, but the way it is told is very nice. The detail of adding text overlays in the objects in order to allow us to understand better what is going on is also very cool. By the way, Tony Revolori is just great on this movie.
