Today I watched Inception. So much talking that I really needed to see it. Unfortunately I can’t agree with all the fuss. The idea is interesting (dreams always fascinate me), there are some great special effects (like the one in the still above, or the ones of dreams exploding), there is some action (not much, to be sincere) and too much talking on some scenes. Also, I miss girls. I do not like Marion Cotillard acting (she might be a good actress, but I do not like her. Ellen Page is nice, but then, she is kind of lateral to the story.
To conclude, first a complain: who in hell creates a company named Cobol? At least, not in the near future, I am sure.
Then, a quote. Probably the only one that make me smile (although not a comedy, I like movies with some sense of humor).
Arthur: It would have to be a 747.
Cobb: Why is that?
Arthur: Because in a 747, the pilot’s up top, and the first class cabin’s in the nose, so no one would walk through. But you’d have to buy out the entire cabin. And the first class flight attendant…
Saito: I bought the airline.
[Everybody turns and stares at him. Saito just shrugs]
Saito: It seemed neater.
