I confess: I didn’t really watch this movie either. It was on TV, I was peeking from time to time. But fortunately enough to peek at the right time to see some camel toes. And that is mostly everything I can tell about the movie. Other than that, just another James Bond movie (not properly a fan).
The last Season of House is over. And its not because it is the eighth year in a row that makes it worse. Or the lack of Cuddy. In fact, the eighth season is quite better than some previous ones. I could complain about the last episode (I don’t like that kind of episode), but I do not want to present any spoiler. Nevertheless, the end, the really end, is not bad. There could be some different ways to finish the season, but the chosen one is good, as it honors friendship.
I took the time to also see the “swan song”, the kind of documentary about House series. About that, I can only say: “Hey, Cameron is so… old!?” but then… eight years. We all are older :(
Smash is a new series. It is classified as Drama, but for now I do not think Drama is the right classification. It is not a comedy, is not action, is not horror, probably it is not romance, but drama.. ok, why not. I am not sure if I will continue watching it, but I will give a second chance, and wait for the next episode. Why not? The story is not bad (Broadway backstage), there are some nice girls, and it is completely different from the other series I am watching at the moment. So, wait for more posts about it in the future.
Finished to watch House, Season 4, a few days ago, but I forgot to comment on it. This might be the worst season ever (just watched the first four). The beginning was kind of fun, with House choosing the new team from a set of 20 candidates. But then, this series misses Clinic Duty (I like to see House doing it), and most of the time House is an incompetent doctor.
Regarding the new team, yes, Olivia Wilde has nice eyes. But Jennifer Morrison has a more cute face. Olivia’s face is too orthogonal… while Jennifer’s more soft and round. Regarding boys, I like Kal Penn as Kutner. He is totally fun. Peter Jacobson, as Taub, is just OK.
Oh, and does all series need to finish with House sick, almost dying?
Yesterday I finished my marathon on watching House, Season 2. My first comment is… are they trying to mimic real world? Anybody knows any doctor that entered a patient home to check for their live environment? I do not think so. Nevertheless, I enjoy watching House. And not just because of Dr. Cameron :)
Yet again, the last episode from the season was the one I disliked. At the end nothing is clear. What was real? What was hallucinations? I would say everything was hallucination, but we are never sure. Probably that is not relevant. But I did not like it.
There isn’t much fuss about this series. It is kind of a remake of another previous series. I did not watch it, therefore I can’t comment on whether this is better or worst. I saw the first four episodes in the public Portuguese television and that got me curiosity to know how it will end. Yes, how it will end, because this is not a standard series like Castle, Knight Rider, or even Nikita, that have episodes more or less self-contained. In this case, the story grows from episode to episode and… unfortunately, it doesn’t finish with the first season. And this is my main complain on the series.
The story and actors are OK. The FX effects are not bad, although there are some details on how ships fly that annoy me. In the overall I am happy with it, and will wait for the next series.
After the first episode I decided to give a try to this mini-series. Unfortunately I did not like much of the second episode story. Nothing really new to be told there. A simple cipher, using words from a book (in this case a dictionary). A lot of details on the story go without a valid explanation (at least, for me). I understand
that I was watching the episode without subtitles, and that I have some problems understanding some of the actors completely (namely Sherlock, that speaks too fast). But I do not think that was the real problem.
In any case, I will give the third episode a try, as well. Oh, before concluding… if Sherlock is so smart, why he uses Internet Exploder?
The first episode was broadcast today in the Portuguese public television channel (RTP). Knowing “V” to be a recent series, I watched it. Wasn’t expecting much and that was, probably, good. At the moment the plot is nothing extraordinary. But, being it the first episode, I can understand it to be more like a teaser than a standard episode.
Next Sunday I will try to watch the second episode. Who knows if it gets more interesting. If not, XBox will be turned ON, and GTAIV or Forza Motorsport played. (BTW, a GTA IV post soon on a blog near you).
