For some time that this movie is in my queue to be watched. Not because I expected a great movie (I didn’t, as some people warned me before), but because of Jessica Alba swimming around in the ocean. And let me tell you that, if it wasn’t she and her friend Ashley Scott, the movie would suck more.
Oh, talking about Ashely, it is a shame she dies too early in the movie. Oh, and sorry for the spoiler. But this is not much relevant to the movie story.
About the movie itself, it has some interesting action parts, but they are too few. Most of the time you see water, water, fishes, water, and fishes. Occasionally a mermaid (read Jessica Alba) passes by, telling you why you are still watching the movie.
If am I planning to see the sequel? Probably…
